CronChief (“we”, “us”) is a free, stateless set of cron tools. This policy explains what data is — and isn’t — involved when you use cronchief.com.

The short version

We don’t have user accounts, we don’t run a database, and we don’t store the cron expressions you type. Parsing happens per-request and nothing about your input is retained on our servers. We don’t sell data, and we set no first-party tracking cookies.

What we process

• Cron expressions & timezone you enter are processed in memory to compute descriptions and run times, then discarded. They may appear in the page URL so you can share or bookmark a result.
• Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) may be recorded transiently by our hosting/proxy for security and reliability, and are not used to identify you.

Advertising & cookies

CronChief may display ads served by Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Consent (EEA, UK & Switzerland)

Children

CronChief is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as the site evolves; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
