About CronChief

CronChief is a free, fast set of tools for working with cron — the time-based job scheduler behind Unix-like systems. Why it exists

Cron’s five-field syntax is compact but easy to get subtly wrong — and a wrong schedule can mean a job that never runs or runs far too often. CronChief turns the expression into something you can read and verify in seconds, computing real occurrences (with correct daylight-saving handling) so you can ship schedules with confidence.
